We've had another fabulous winter season. But, as the winter blanket melts, locals and visitors alike are shedding layers and remembering why summer is their favorite season. The snow-packed landscape gives way to an abundance of vibrant colors that manifest themselves across the valleys and mountainsides. Winter activities give way to hiking, biking, golfing, climbing and other fair-weather pursuits.

It's not just the view that has undergone a renewal, either. The quaint mountain town of Vail has also been undergoing a rebirth process. Vail's Renewal, over the past several years, has created and unearthed many new jewels are ready to be experienced by visitors during the summer of 2010.
