Vail, CO – The 18th Annual Vail Jazz Festival presents the third of nine Jazz @ Vail Square performances on Thursday, July 19 with five-time Grammy nominee, Marcia Ball. The performance gets underway at 6 p.m. in the Jazz Tent at The Arrabelle in Vail Square. Tickets for preferred seating at the front of the tent are $20 and guarantee concertgoers a spot for the entirety of the performance. Free general admission seating at the back of tent is also available on a first-come, first-served basis. A $99 Jazz Pass is offered with preferred seating for the remaining seven performances.
No stranger to Vail stages, Marcia Ball’s piano-driven Cajun jazz has made her a favorite of Vail audiences. Her infectious, emotional brand of southern boogie and roadhouse blues gets the crowd moving and her heartfelt ballads stop them in their tracks. Ball will play many iconic festivals in 2012 including the Wine and Jazz Festival in Vancouver, Washington, the Blues to Bop Festival in Lugano, Switzerland and the VooDoo Festival in New Orleans.
