Vail Soul Music Festival Debuts in Vail, August 20-22, 2010
Vail Soul Music Fest – the first-ever soul music themed event to appear in the state of Colorado – will debut in Vail during the weekend of August 20–22, 2010 with confirmed artists to date including headliner Raphael Saadiq, along with Liv Warfield and Jonathan Bryant.

Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival Appoints Next Artistic Director, Third in Festival's History
The Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival announced that pianist Anne-Marie McDermott will be its artistic director beginning with the 2011 season, the Festival’s 24th. McDermott will assume artistic leadership in October succeeding Eugenia Zukerman who, after holding the position for 13 years, announced last fall she would step down. Zukerman will complete her stellar tenure with the Bravo! Festival this summer of 2010.

Vail Recreation District's First Annual Vail Kids Adventure Race Set for Aug. 7
Adventurous, rope-swinging, mountain biking and independent kids are encouraged to participate in the Vail Recreation District's (VRD) first-annual Vail Kids Adventure Race, taking place Saturday, Aug. 7 in Vail Village and on Vail Mountain and its surrounding wilderness and creeks. During this inaugural race, kids ages six through 12 will team up into pairs and learn the thrill of adventure racing while they participate in a variety of outdoor sports and challenges including mountain biking, hiking, tubing, archery, a low ropes course, a zip line, Tarzan rope, slip-n-slide and more. New Summer Trail Running Camp with Bart Yasso Comes to Vail
Vail-based athlete and trainer, Ellen Miller, announces a new trail running camp for runners interested in learning and training in the spectacular location of Vail, Colorado.
