Colorado outdoor “dudeventure” travel package not just for guys

Grill brats on a private balcony after careening down Vail Pass by bike, plunge down a mountain canyon zipline or just kick back in front of the fireplace – and living room big screen – while sipping a cold one. Antlers at Vail hotel’s new Bikes, Brats and Beer outdoor adventure package, available Aug. 15 – Sept. 30, 2016, knows how to turn Colorado’s late summer sunny days and cool nights into a great guys’ getaway – enjoying the best of Vail with off-peak crowds and pricing.

And while mantripping.com gave the Bikes, Brats and Beer experience a favorable nod, the value-priced lodging and activity package doesn’t have to be for men only only. “The package could work equally well for two couples – or four women,” says Antlers Assistant GM Magda King. “The Colorado adventure component is fun for everyone – and who doesn’t like brats and beer?”

Pricing for Antlers at Vail’s new three-night Bikes, Brats and Beer package is $445/person, based on four guests in a two-bedroom condominium, and includes a self-guided Vail Pass bike tour from Charter Sports (with bike rental, helmet, map and a shuttle to the top of the pass), a Zip Adventures zipline experience, and beer and bratwurst stocked in your condominium suite fridge. Package is based on availability and can accommodate a different number of people/bedrooms on request (call for alternative pricing). Taxes not included, but as always, Antlers charges no resort fees.

Located away from the highway on the banks of Gore Creek – and just steps from the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Lionshead’s drinking and dining opportunities, Antlers at Vail is known for its long list of unusual complimentary guest amenities. Need a GoPro camera to record your adventures? Check. An espresso machine to start the morning? Check. A pass to Vail Athletic Club? Cruiser bike for tooling around town? All those and more are included in every Antlers at Vail stay. And the Antlers – with a policy of “The answer is ‘yes’; now what was the question?” is happy to customize packages to fit guest needs and schedule.

Antlers at Vail hotel offers a relaxed Vail lodging experience in a fabulous mountain setting and has achieved Vail’s Platinum lodging rating, the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and GreenLeader status, and the 2016 Community Impact Award from the Vail Valley Partnership. With condominiums ranging from studio suites up to four-bedroom penthouses, every unit at the Antlers enjoys a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, private balcony, daily maid service and complimentary Wi-Fi and parking. The Antlers has an A+ location on the banks of Gore Creek, just steps from restaurants, galleries, shops, free Vail town shuttle and the Lionshead Gondola.
