Vail, Colorado – May 24, 2018 – Not one, not two, but three of the top travel trends for 2018 are addressed in the latest package being offered by the amenities-packed and Platinum-rated Antlers at Vailhotel in Vail, Colorado.

A Forbes forecast for what to expect in 2018 travel revealed that the top three most popular luxury travel trends include seasoned travelers looking to visit cold destinations instead of hot; folks seeking to push themselves outside of their comfort zones by trying new activities and exploring new places; and continued interest in multigenerational trips and travel with immediate family.

Embracing its elevated locale, Antlers at Vail created the new 3-night Beat the Heat lodging package to invite families to chill out in the Rocky Mountains this summer, June 1 – Sept. 30, 2018, with family-friendly value pricing. In addition to three nights’ lodging, the Beat the Heat package includes a complimentary pool toy for the kids for use in the Antlers’ stunning mountainside pool – and delicious icy treats for four from Vail’s Rimini Gelato & Café, within easy walking distance in Antlers’ family-friendly Lionshead neighborhood.

Adding to the fun, the Eagle Bahn Gondola is just steps from the Antlers’ front door, carrying guests to the full array of Vail Epic Discovery action – with its Alpine Coaster, ziplines and adventure courses – as well as shady high-elevation hikes, including one to take in a waterfall. Meanwhile, all around the Vail Valley, the natural resources feature snow-fed streams for whitewater adventures and fly fishing, as well as thousands of acres of preserved open space for hiking and mountain biking. Closer to town, miles of paved recreational paths and open road for road bikers abound, or visitors can simply watch the kids splash and play in one of Vail’s inviting kid-friendly fountains.

“The Vail Valley’s Rocky Mountain location offers cooler temps in the summer than much of the country, which makes it more fun to be outdoors trying out new adventures in this gorgeous area that is jam-packed with unique experiences,” says Magda King, Antlers General Manager.
