The Vail Recreation District will offer a special Chocolate Making class at the Vail Community Programming Room from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday (7-12).

Taught by Cornerstone Chocolates, this unique class, for ages 15 and older, will teach participants how to properly handle chocolate with a hands-on approach to make delicious and elegant looking treats to keep or share. All chocolate-making materials and light snacks will be provided at the event. The cost is $50 per person to participate and reservations are required. A cash bar will be available for those 21 and older. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

In addition to the special Chocolate Making class, the VRD's Community Programming department offers a number of great community programs ranging from fitness classes, children's programs, art classes and birthday parties.
