(Vail)-The Vail Recreation District (VRD) will offer new adult hockey clinics Aug. 27-29 at Dobson Ice Arena that will include instruction on skating and puck handling; stick handling, shooting and passing; and positioning and game scenarios. Clinics are for those 18 and older and will take place from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. and cost $10 per day/clinic.
The clinics are coed and are for skaters at a "C" level or below who are looking to improve their hockey experience. Each clinic will be limited to 30 skaters with drop-ins accepted based on available space. Participants must have their own equipment and have a minimum of one year of hockey experience. Each session will have a five minute warm-up and one hour of instruction followed by 10 minutes question and answer session.
