Award-Winning Folk-Rock for Families and the Planet
The Vail Recreation District will host a concert featuring Eco-Troubadour Stan Slaughter beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday (7-31) at the Vail Nature Center. The Eco-Troubadour shares positive ways to live in harmony with the planet, simple changes that can be made now and creative options for a greener future - all experienced through song.

According to Vail Nature Center Director Tom Gaylord, the Eco-Troubadour's award-winning music helps connect children young audiences to the environment through interactive songs (with dance moves for the little ones). "The concert will be a lot of fun for both you and your children," said Gaylord. "You'll have so much fun, in fact, you might not notice you're learning something."

Tickets for the performance cost $6 per child, $12 per adult or $35 for a family of five. Advance reservation is required. Tickets are available at the Vail Nature Center, located adjacent to the Vail soccer fields and across the bridge from the Ford Amphitheater.
