Grill on the Gore (formerly Happy Valley Grill), located in the Vail Golf Clubhouse has opened for the summer season, serving its full menu daily from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Après menu from 4 to 7 p.m. Boasting the most spectacular views of the Gore Range of any Vail restaurant, Grill on the Gore offers classic American grill cuisine to guests. Daily drink specials are available with a full service bar and signature cocktails featuring domestic drafts starting at $4. Reservations are not required and on-site parking is free.
Dave Root, the new General Manager, brings extensive management experience to the Grill following ten years as General Manager at the Tap Room. Root says he is excited to join the Vail Recreation District, which operates the clubhouse and Grill, and provide golfers, visiting guests and the community a great local's spot to enjoy great food. "We're pleased to offer our community and its guests a new fresh menu and experience at the golf club," said general manager David Root. "The menu features an array of traditional and unique items that will satisfy all of our guests."
Chef Rick Ammer brings a wealth of experiences and created a menu that offers a delicious variety at affordable prices. Menu items range from $7 - $15 and kids' meals are also available. Daily drink specials start at $4. The Golf Course's Snack Shack opens at 6:30 a.m. and serves a range of breakfast and lunch items. The bar will be open until 8 p.m. daily.  

Emmy Cardoza also joins the Grill team as Events Coordinator. Cardoza will oversee group parties, meetings and weddings which can use all Vail Golf Club facilities including the Vail Golf Course's "wedding island."
