The Vail Rec District offers a Trail running series every summer and the first race kicks off on May 19 with the Boneyard Boogie 10k. This seven-race series is in its 15th year and starts in May and ends in September. Runners have a summer long opportunity to race on some of Vail's great trails with this trail running series.
The Vail Tennis Center will open for play nearly six weeks early and offer tennis on a variety of its clay courts beginning Monday, April 16. The Tennis Center joins the Vail Golf Club, which also opened early for play on Friday, April 13.
Training for a triathlon, or a season of competition, can be daunting for both first-timers and veterans, but coaching can make a big difference in the quality of the experience. Vail Vitality Center is offering a four-week training program, open to all levels, taught by Senior Carmichael Training Systems Coach Abby Ruby.
