As the snow melts off the mountains and Vail Valley begins to blossom, what better way to enjoy the warm weather than on foot. Join distinguished athlete and marathon trainer Jeff Galloway for a rewarding weekend of mental and physical training to become a marathon runner on June 17 through 20.
The clinic gives participants the opportunity to work with Galloway in small group sessions gaining motivation, mental preparation, nutrition, fat burning exercises and running injury-free. The weekend is aimed to help runners anywhere from beginning to expert levels choose a realistic goal and train for it.
Galloway was a member of the 1972 Olympic team, and has competed against some of the world’s best athletes in Europe, Africa, and the former Soviet Union. He has worked with over 200,000 people in training for specific goals and is the inventor of the Galloway RUN-WALK-RUN™ method.
Galloway is an inspirational speaker to over 200 running and fitness sessions each year. His innovative ideas have opened up the possibility of running and completing a marathon to almost everyone. Philosophically, Galloway believes that we were all designed to run and walk, and he keeps finding ways to bring more people into the positive world of exercise.
