VAIL, Colo. – July 19 – Vail Mountain Lodge General Manager Frank Johnson is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Morgan as executive director of Vail Vitality Center, located at the property. Morgan brings to Vail Vitality Center nearly 20 years of experience and proven successes in the fitness, wellness and training industries, most recently with the CYBEX Institute.
“In addition to his background and credentials, Jeff brings with him the kind of ‘can-do’ spirit and enthusiasm, and management qualities that are essential to the success of Vail Vitality Center,” said Johnson. “We are honored and excited to welcome him to our team of professionals and practitioners.”
Morgan’s most recent work with CYBEX as education director and sales consultant allowed him to conduct educational symposiums on behalf of the CYBEX Institute, detailing the company’s belief in providing a scientific basis for the development of exercise machines that enhance human performance. He developed sports performance programs, and created personal training revenue plans for public and private health facilities, such as the YMCA and major colleges and universities.
Prior to CYBEX, Morgan handled domestic commercial sales for Peak Pilates and Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc. based in Boulder, Colo. He also was the founder and owner of Studio29 Wellness Center, a comprehensive wellness consulting and physical therapy business, in Denver.
Morgan’s professional resume also includes work with the Colorado Athletic Club in Denver, and Fitness by Design in Indianapolis, Ind.

I look forward to helping our members and guests gain a clearer understanding of their true overall ability, physically, emotionally and medically.”
Morgan is a Certified Health Fitness instructor with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM-HFI), a Titleist Performance Institute L2 Golf Fitness instructor, a Certified Trigger Point (Myofacial) M.A.T. therapist, a Kettle Bell Certified trainer, a TRX Certified trainer, a Peak Pilates MVE Certified trainer, and a Certified CYBEX service provider. He has a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.
Morgan is an avid mountain biker, alpine skier, golfer and outdoor enthusiast. He lives in the Vail Valley with his wife and two children.
