Vail, Colorado – It has been said many a time that the world is your oyster. This summer we believe that the Beaver Creek and Vail Chophouse are, well at least on Thursdays. All summer, visit either restaurant location on Thursday evenings, from 4-7pm, to enjoy Chophouse Oyster Night. Featuring $1 raw oysters, $2 charbroiled oysters and a variety of drink specials, all set on the beautiful mountain-side decks of both restaurant locations, the event offers the perfect way to fully embrace the gorgeous summer evenings here in the Vail Valley.

The Beaver Creek and Vail Chophouse concepts are known throughout the Valley for their great steak cuts and fresh fish; however the incredible seafood offering available at each location is often overlooked. Year-round the Chophouse offers a variety of delights from the sea including, live Maine lobster, Alaskan king crab legs, oysters, jumbo shrimp, and the massive Chophouse Cold Seafood Tower, for those looking to enjoy a taste of it all.

This summer the Chophouse seafood menu comes to the forefront as the restaurants feature oysters every Thursday, from 4-7pm, all summer long! Serving platters of raw oysters for only $1 per oyster and charbroiled oysters for $2 per oyster, along with $5 drafts, $6 glasses of champagne and $9 glasses of wine, it is a deal not to be missed! And beyond being a great deal, the oyster menu provides a delicious sampling to be enjoyed.

Executive Chef Patrick Funk of the Chophouse has worked closely with the restaurant’s seafood purveyors to assure that each week features only the freshest and best oyster stock available, shipped from the cold waters of both the East and West Coast. Shucked and prepared out on the Chophouse deck, the raw oyster platters are an incredibly refreshing treat for a hot summer evening. Additionally, for those that haven’t quite acquired the taste for raw oysters yet, the Chophouse staff will be preparing a variety of charbroiled oyster plates from the deck as well. Featuring Grill Popped Oysters, New Orleans Style Oysters (grilled with garlic
butter and parmesan cheese), Oysters Casino and Oysters “Rock”, the Chophouse grilled oyster mix and match selection provides a delightful selection guaranteed to tantalize the taste buds of evening the most discerning oyster eater.
