While the new event contact list will be decidedly different for the 2009 Teva Mountain Games in Vail, the same dedication to excellence and fun will be readily apparent as the nation’s premier outdoor adventure event rolls into Vail June 4-7 with the Vail Valley Foundation at the helm.

From a competition standpoint, the Foundation will add the Vail Pass Half Marathon to the mountain running aspect of the Teva Mountain Games.  Starting in the heart of Vail Village and finishing near the summit of Vail Pass, the 13.7-mile Vail Pass Half will feature 2,310 feet of elevation gain from start to finish, with 100 percent of the run being on an uphill grade.
