Vail, Colorado,  — Aspiring song-writers and music lovers will gather at Season of Song in Vail, Colorado, September 20 – 23, 2012, for a four-day event celebrating the power of song.  Hear the inspiration behind the songs we all know and love. 12 world-class songwriters will share the back-stories to some of the greatest hits of our generation, including “Peaceful, Easy Feeling”, “I Hope you Dance”, “The Wind Beneath my Wings”, “Wichita Lineman”, and “Best of my Love”, just to name a few. 

Nightly performances will include Dala, Elephant Revival, Beth Nielsen Chapman and David Wilcox. Other guests include: J.D. Souther, Michael Tomlinson, and a special Garth Brooks tribute from the Bluebird Café writers.

Describing Season of Song, event founder Morris Lawrence says, “It's about the creation of the song. It's about the stories behind the song. It's about how songs inspire, connect, move, and motivate. It's all about the song.”
