Friday, September 30th marks the start of a variety of $20.16 specials spanning across two world class resorts.

The leaves have turned, the air is brisk and the restaurants and lodges throughout the Vail Valley are offering up some of their best specials of the year. All of these factors come together to kick off the fourth annual Vail Beaver Creek Restaurant Week, commencing Friday September 30th and spanning across ten days and two weekends until October 9th.  Excitement and buzz continue to build for the much anticipated 2016 event, especially as the wide array of tantalizing $20.16 restaurant specials and various exciting hotel offers continue to be updated on the Dining at Altitude website.

When reviewing the full list of 2016 participating restaurants and lodges one will quickly see the wide variety of offerings available and have no difficulty finding the perfect fit.  As they peruse the site, guests will quickly notice their favorite locations from the past three years are once again participating; however, be cautious not to miss the assortment of new restaurants and lodges on board as well.  We also encourage guests to check back on the site often, as more and more specials are being added every week.  Vail and Beaver Creek will have no shortage of offerings for visitors and locals to kick back, relax and enjoy for the entirety of the event.

It’s not just the list of restaurants creating the buzz this year, but the Vail and Beaver Creek lodges as well, accommodating guests from across the country. With returning locations like the Sonnenalp and The Sebastian along with new additions such as the Ritz-Carleton Residences and The Arrabelle, just to name a few, visitors will have plenty of options to choose from upon arriving to experience one of the best seasons Vail Valley has to offer. Whatever $20.16 special you opt for this year, there is one thing that’s for sure and that is, it will pair perfectly with Vail and Beaver Creek’s stunning autumn backdrop.  The fall scenery of the Rocky Mountains truly sets the stage for an unparalleled culinary event returning even bigger and better for 2016.

And if that wasn’t enough, beyond the plethora of participants and specials for our 2016 Restaurant Week, Top Shelf Harvest will be returning for a third year on Saturday, October 1st!   The perfect event for the culminating weekend of Restaurant Week, Top Shelf Harvest brings a happy hour celebration unlike any other filled with live music, tastings and mixology contests.  Taking place in Lionshead on Saturday, October 1st, from 3-6pm, the event aims to entertain with inventive cocktails and food samples from Colorado’s best distilleries and the Valley’s favorite restaurants.  Sarah Franke of Group970 Restaurants said, “We are thrilled to overlap once again with Top Shelf Harvest.  The event is a great pair for Restaurant Week and provides our guests with a fun afternoon of activity that fits as a perfect lead in to a great night out in Vail, enjoying the $20.16 restaurant week offers.”

Once again sincere thanks are due to the Town of Vail, Beaver Creek Resort Company, Vail Resorts and the Vail Valley Foundation for playing a critical role in supporting Restaurant Week throughout all of its’ four years. We can’t wait for everyone to get out there and enjoy all that Vail and Beaver Creek villages have to offer.  And don’t forget to save some time in your schedule for that beautiful autumn hike!
