From Brewmaster's Weekends and Wednesday Craft Beer Tastings to a new Sip, Savor & Brew experience, Vail Cascade serves up the suds and sustenance while Vail doles out the outdoor inspiration
VAIL, CO  The Vail Cascade Resort and Atwater on Gore Creek, its signature creek-side restaurant, today announced the summer lineup for its 2013 Brewmaster's Weekends, its Wednesday Craft Beer Tastings Series and its new Sip, Savor & Brew on Gore Creek weekend packages. Sip, Savor & Brew on Gore Creek builds upon the Brewmaster's Weekends by incorporating additional seminars, discussions and tastings for a more educational and up close look at the art of brewing craft beer, beer styles and culinary pairings. Home to the Vail Valley's most diverse selection of craft beer, Atwater on Gore Creek and Craft Beer Program Creator, Laura Lodge, have assembled a marquee batch of brewmasters to cool off with this summer. From summer specials to weekend packages and midweek tasting hours, Vail Cascade Resort provides the ideal mountain venue for summertime refreshment and sustenance at altitude.

“Our Brewmasters Weekends are one of the cornerstones of the Vail Cascade craft beer program, and we are excited to offer a more intense and interactive schedule with multiple Brewmasters in our Sip, Savor & Brew weekend experience,” said Lodge. “We have also designed the itinerary in such a way that it allows for attendees to incorporate mountain activities and adventures into their weekend in addition to their craft beer experience.”

Sip, Savor & Brew on Gore Creek
Starting in June, Atwater on Gore Creek will launch a new culinary craft beer experience dubbed Sip, Savor & Brew on Gore Creek to enhance its monthly Brewmaster's Weekends. Designed to be more educational and experiential, the new program will feature several seminars and informal gatherings that will cover topics such as craft beer trends, pairing techniques, homebrewing, and more. Each seminar will be led by an expert, be it a brewmaster, brewery owner, Atwater chef or industry professional, and will provide ample time for interactive discussions between attendees and the presenter.

Brewmaster's Weekends
For this monthly series, brewmasters and beer lovers will convene at the Vail Cascade for two days of mingling, learning and sampling. The format includes a “Meet the Brewmaster” craft beer sampling and a Small Plates & Craft Beer Pairing event co-hosted by the Brewmaster and Atwater Culinary Team. Meet the Brewmaster is free and open to the public and the craft beer and food pairing is $25 per person for a four-course small plate pairing created especially for each craft beer by the Atwater team. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 970.479.7014.
