Golf Operations
Golf operations and the pro shop for the 2016 summer will be headquartered in the temporary structure located adjacent to the driving range and near the starter building. Parking will be available in the lot south of the new building construction, and will be actively managed by the Vail Recreation District to coincide with construction needs. The golf course itself will not be affected by construction for the 2016 golf season, and guests will be able to enjoy 18 holes of outstanding golf all summer long.

The driving range is currently scheduled to open on June 6, and restoration work will begin on May 2, with both dependent on weather conditions. Hole 10 will be the first priority for restoration, with sod for the landing area from new drainage work done in the fall. Restoration work on the short game area, including the chipping and putting green by the driving range is also scheduled to start on May 2. The old hole 18 chipping area will be available for practice.

The clubhouse renovation project is moving along quickly, with the cart barn area scheduled to be completed for the new Club Car fleet of 70 electric cars arriving on June 1. The anticipated date of completion is September 1, 2016. The newly renovated clubhouse will feature expanded pro and Nordic shop facilities, the Grill on the Gore restaurant serving golfers and the public, expansive outdoor seating areas and new locker rooms, among many other improvements. An enhanced community banquet room will feature gorgeous views of the Gore Mountain Range and seating for events of up to 160 people. Bookings are now being accepted for weddings, meetings and social gatherings after October 1. The wedding island will still be available for rent throughout this summer.
