June 25 for boys ages 7 to 12
The Vail Recreation District will host the Vail Lacrosse Shootout from June 25 to July 3 at the Ford Park athletic fields, and will offer a free youth lacrosse clinic and Chumash tournament on Saturday, June 25. The clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and the Chumash tournament will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Both are open to boys ages 7 to 12. Participants are required to bring a helmet, stick, pads and a mouthguard and will learn to play, develop skills and have fun! The Vail Recreation District is offering several sports camps with limited space still available including Skyhawks Lacrosse Camp, Mini-Hawk Sports Training Camp, Skyhawks Flag Football Camp, British Soccer Camp, Tetrabrazil Soccer Camp, Back 2 Basics All-Star Basketball Academy and Sidney Moncrief's Shooting Camp.
