Vail Summer of Jazz
The Vail Jazz Foundation will launch its sixteenth anniversary season of live jazz performances in the spectacular setting of the Rocky Mountains of Vail, Colorado this summer. The Vail Jazz Festival brings cool jazz to hot summer days and nights from June through September. The 2010 season features performances to enhance your Vail vacation: Jazz on Sunday afternoons at the Vail Farmers' Market, Jazz at Vail Square on Thursday nights and the Vail Jazz Party - a four day celebration of jazz taking place at an area hotel over Labor Day Weekend, September 2 - 5, 2010. Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival
Bravo! brings another spectacular season of music featuring the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic to the magnificent Rocky Mountains. Vail International Dance Festival
The Vail International Dance Festival brings the world’s greatest dancers, choreographers and musicians to stages of the Vail Valley for a two week celebration of dance. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Damian Woetzel, the Festival has grown to be among the premiere cultural events in the nation, capturing the attention of national and international media. The diverse programming is complemented by community events, master classes and education outreach, engaging new audiences each summer. Festival highlights include the company debut of the critically-acclaimed troupe Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company; dancers from New York City Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and The Royal Ballet gracing the bill on the International Evenings of Dance at the Gerald R. Budweiser Hot Summer Nights (June - August)
Hot Summer nights is a free summer concert series at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater put on by the Vail Valley Foundation. Concerts happen every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m.
Art in Public Places
The Art in Public Places program (AIPP) is one of the many culturally oriented programs in the Vail Valley. The intent of the program is to assemble a collection of works of art in public places which is educational, attractive to residents and visitors, and of an overall aesthetic quality equal to the excellent international reputation the Town enjoys as a resort.

Betty Ford Alpine Gardens
The Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, located near Ford Park just east of Vail Village, is a public botanical garden featuring a wide array of alpine flora. At 8,250 feet above sea level, the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens are the highest botanical gardens in the United States. Vail Oktoberfest (Sept. 3-5 and Sept. 10-12)
For two weekends, a traditional Oktoberfest celebration takes place right in the heart of Vail and Lionshead villages, featuring a variety of authentic music and street entertainment. The celebration features German cuisine and German beer as well as some of Europe's finest wines.
Vail Farmers' Market and Art Show
The largest farmers' market in Colorado, the Vail Farmers' Market takes place each Sunday from June through September. The market features local farmers, food vendors and artists.
