Night Life

When the sun goes down in Vail, the night heats up. No matter what kind of nightlife you prefer, Vail has something for you. From establishments with deck-side mountain views to underground bars where hiking boots are permitted on the dance floor, the nightlife here easily rivals the excitement of the mountain's daytime experience.

Garfinkel's
With fantastic deck seating facing Vail Mountain, Garfinkel's puts the "lax" in relax. Return in the evening and enjoy the boisterous atmosphere and maybe even try your hand at the infamous shot wheel.

The George Restaurant & Pub
The George represents an authentic taste from "across the pond." This quaint English pub is the perfect place to meet friends over a couple of pints, fish & chips and a cozy up to the hearths during the winter season. The George also features the best happy hour deals in the valley from 3 to 7 p.m. daily.

Los Amigos
Mountain-side deck views with flowing pitchers of margaritas that last well into the night. If the elevation doesn't take your breath away, the sunset from Los Amigos will.

The Sandbar Sports Grill
The venture westward to the Sandbar, slightly outside of Vail Village, is well worth the journey to watch sports, shoot pool or make moves on the dance floor to tunes of a live band.

The Tap Room
Just steps away from the Vista Bahn chairlift, the Tap Room is a cozy enclave for lunch, après ski, dinner or a night on the town. But the Tap Room isn't just about good food and drink. The cigar menu is just as tantalizing, which patron's are invited to enjoy on the restaurants deck.

Vendetta's
Serving some of the best pizza slices Vail Village has to offer, Vendetta's offers the late-night crowd the perfect food and drink night-cap.

The Club
One of Vail's liveliest bars, The Club sticks by the motto "If you didn't come to party, don't come at all." With great live acoustic music on a near nightly basis, The Club lives up to its reputation as one of Vail's most raucous bars.

Samana Lounge
Stepping into Vail Village's Samana on Bridge Street will make you feel like you've stepped out of Vail for a moment. Though Samana's décor is un-mountain-villa like, the spot is a "can't miss" among many guests, pouring some of the coldest drinks to combat Vail Village's hot summer nights.

Whiskey Jack's
Formerly known as the Ski Bar and located in Vail Village, Whiskey Jack's is a locals' favorite. You'll find nothing short of an eclectic crowd inside, ready to have a good time.

Pepi's
Located on Bridge Street in the heart of Vail, Pepi's has long been considered a Vail landmark. With live, acoustic music performed outdoors on the expansive deck, Pepi's provides entertainment for those on the street as well as those choosing to sit down and enjoy the authentic Austrian cuisine and ambiance.

The Red Lion
The Red Lion has been a Vail tradition since 1962. With a great menu and a lively bar fueled by the live music of another Vail landmark, co-owner Phil Long, The Red Lion welcomes people of all ages through the early evening but the crowd livens up when the sun goes down.

Mickey's Piano Bar
Nestled away in the Lodge at Vail, Mickey's features an extensive bar, relaxed atmosphere and nightly entertainment. The pianist plays soothing tunes; music to a golfer's over-golfed muscles.
