2013 Event Features 20 Local Restaurants and the Toyota “Let’s Go Places” Tour
Event organizers for Gourmet on Gore announced the lineup of featured restaurants and named the festival as an official stop of the Toyota “Let’s Go Places” Tour.

Gourmet on Gore is an open-air culinary and beverage festival that takes place along Vail’s Gore Creek Drive and Bridge Street over Labor Day weekend, Aug. 30- Sept. 2, 2013. The festival showcases Vail Valley’s premier restaurants as well as wines, spirits and beers from around the world.

“Combining delicious food and superb drinks, Gourmet on Gore has become an annual Labor Day tradition in the Vail Valley,” said James Deighan of Highline. “The main event is the open-air food and wine tasting, which includes live demonstrations for the valley’s top chefs, sommeliers and mixologists.”

Participating restaurants and catering companies include: Batter Cupcakes, Big Bear Bistro, Campo de Fiori Vail, CinéBistro, Elway’s Vail, Flame Restaurant, Larkburger, Larkspur Restaurant, La Tour Vail, Matsushia Vail, Mountain Cupcakes, Mountain Standard, Pepi’s Restaurant, Up the Creek Bar & Grill, Restaurant Kelly Liken, Sweet Basil, Swiss Chalet, Vail Marriott Mountain Resort, TASTE 5 Catering and The 10th.

The festival is also an official stop of the Toyota “Let’s Go Places” tour to celebrate the spirit of the summer road trip. Both current and prospective Toyota owners will be able to discover first-hand the way the new models—2014 Toyota Corolla, Camry, RAV4 and Prius—are able to help them discover new places.

“Toyota drivers are fueled by passion for music, art and food,” said Jim Baudino, Engagement Marketing manager for Toyota Motor Sales. “Gourmet on Gore embodies these same passions and is set in the perfect landscape for adventure.”

Gourmet on Gore is presented by Toyota Motor Sales, Town of Vail, Stella Artois, Triumph Mountain Properties, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, Chambord and Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate, and is sponsored in part by Acqua Panna and San Pellegrino, Bighorn Toyota, Newton Red Label, Sonnenalp Hotel, DRY Soda, CAO, Burton’s Maplewood Farms, and FirstBank.
